Since trouble is inescapable and avoiding trouble is impossible, then preparing for trouble is imperative. We have to get ready for the fight. Since the Bible says we’re going to overcome by faith, then we need to be equipped on how to deal with trouble, because it’s not the will of God for trouble to mess up our lives.
I call trouble and problems wake-up calls for our divine potential because God will never let us get into trouble that we can’t handle. You have to understand that. Look at this verse in 1 Corinthians 10:13. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man…”
First of all, you need to know that you’re not the only one going through what you’re going through. The devil likes to tell you, “You’re the only one.” You are not the only one. You’re not the only one who lost his job, or who ever had a drug problem, or whose husband or wife is acting up. Now look at the next verse. I Corinthians 10:13…”But God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
