Praise is our first ministry!! We are here to be worshipers first and workers second. The more important the ministry the greater hell’s hindrance to its function. Worship is the greatest ministry to which we have been called and subsequently has attendant hindrances and problems. One of our goals is to develop a worshiper consciousness. What is a worshiper consciousness? A worshiper consciousness is an attitude of reverential fear of God, being awed by His presence, amazed by His Person, aware of His presence, and acknowledging His preeminence that infuses and orders every aspect of our life!! Let’s set our will to commit to being a true worshiper. John 4:23-24 says God is SEEKING true worshipers!! Release your faith and say “Father I want to be a true worshiper!” I want to live a Lifestyle of a worshiper. I will not come and sit and listen to worship leaders do for me what I should be doing.

If we are going to become true worshipers, that means we are going to have some people with a worship consicousness that for the rest of your life you will be conscious of the fact that you are in Awe of God’s presence…for you there is nobody like the Lord and nobody can get the respect and honor you are going to give to God…(the respect and honor you give to others will be an overflow of the reverence you give to God)…keep in mind that the barometer of your relationship with God is often measured by your treatment of others. Worshiping God is a role and a privilege every believer should cherish…it carries Great Rewards! A worshiper/praiser is a person who expresses with the totality of his being (my mouth, my mind, my mannerism). Awe, Respect, Appreciation and Reverence of God that surpasses or transcends the awe, respect, and appreciation I’m willing to give anybody else. Nobody else can get the love that God gets…because I am a WORSHIPER!
